APBA Experience:

Decades with APBA baseball, almost as long with the computer version.

The uniforms of the Untouchables are black with white pinstripes. The mascot is ‘Tommy the Gun.’ Of course, they will be managed by either Ant’ny La Russa or Tommy Lasorda. The Untouchables will attempt to acquire Mike Piazza or Vinnie Somebody. The home park for the Untouchables will be Distillery Alley on the corner of Madison and Michigan Avenues. Of course, the vendors sell only green beer and cigars. The prized souvenir of the Untouchables is a black switch-blade, which is the perfect gift for boys and girls over the age of five.

Commish's Note:

I am reminded of Tim’s introduction of me to APBA. Spring of 1988. That summer, I can’t count the number of times I went to his house on Falconbridge Drive and we would play from after work until almost sunup. I remember is, thinking we were pretty smart beisbol fans, being ‘introduced’ to guys like Tony Gwynn and Benito Santiago.
